CADWELL BSB: SPECTATOR'S FIRE RED FLAGS SUPERSPORT

Sunday's afternoon Fuchs-Silkolene Supersport second qualifying at Cadwell Park was red flagged due to a fog of black smoke pouring across the circuit.

A fire was caused by Spectators camping at the event which effected riders visibility as they approached Park corner. The fire also spread damaging a large grass area that was surrounded by tents and vehicles.

Both the fire brigade and marshals attended to the issue before allowing the session to commence.
