Althea Ducati's Shane Byrne reckons he is happy with his lap times on the third day of testing at Valencia despite not being able to get on track for 48 hours due to bad weather.
The former British Superbike Champion went underneath his best time at the Valencia track, set during Superpole last year, and says he is confident of a good performance at Phillip Island next month.
"I was able to do so many laps and my mechanics worked in a very good way. We pushed hard and I'm very happy with my best lap time and with our work here. I want to thank my mechanics and (team manager) Genesio for giving me a good bike," said Byrne.
“Now we'll go in Phillip Island for some more testing and for the first races of the season. I'm confident because we are in a really strong situation and have a good package to take to Australia."
