MCCOY RETURNS TO MOTOGP WITH NEW FB CORSE SQUAD

Former MotoGP man Gary McCoy will return to the series in 2010 after signing a deal to ride with the fledgling Italian FB Corse team just weeks after losing his seat with the Triumph World Supersport squad.
It was believed that John Hopkins was to take the ride but he dipped out and is now back in AMA Superbikes with his old Team Hammer squad. McCoy went to FB Corse's headquarters at the weekend to sign the deal.
Now FB Corse will have to get Dorna's seal of approval for the 800cc triple. McCoy should get to test it by the end of this month.
