Schwantz believes Spies can win in his rookie MotoGP year

Former 500GP World Champion Kevin Schwantz has said he believes MotoGP rookie Ben Spies can win a race in his debut year in the series following his success in World Superbikes last year.

Schwantz, who won the title for Suzuki in 1993, was speaking to our friends at On The Throttle TV during recent AMA tests at Daytona and said that MotoGP will be a more level playing field now that teams are restricted to six engines for the year.
