Loris Capriossi has confirmed this afternoon what has been suspected for weeks - he will leave Ducati at the end of the year and partner Chris Vermeulen at Rizla Suzuki for the 2008 season.
At a press conference in Brno, Capirossi said he had a good feeling about the Suzuki team and the GSV-R800. Plus it also gives him the chance to stay within a factory team. He also said his decision had nothing to do with Casey Stoner, but because he did not want to run in a satellite team.
Marco Melandri will partner Stoner next year in what Ducati believe will be a dream team.
