Briton Chaz Davies will not be able to race at Motegi this weekend after a tetanus jab has had a bad reaction with his body and doctors have stated it is inadviable for him to fly or race.
Davies, who was due to ride the D'Antin Ducati after Alex Hoffman was sacked on Sunday night, is still in the frame to be on the bike for the remaining three round of the 2007 season.
Shinichi Itoh, the former GP star and Bridgestone test rider, will now compete.
