2016 Motorcycle Live: it all kicks off on Saturday - don’t miss out

Motorcycle Live, UK’s biggest bike show, returns to The NEC from 19-27 November 2016 and the all-inclusive ticket means that every live feature and event at the show will be absolutely FREE. That’s nine opportunities to ride a bike, an abundance of new metal, non-stop interactive entertainment, classic, custom and special anniversary displays, celebrity appearances and the incredible FMX Live Arena…

Bikes, bikes and more bikes
Without doubt, the biggest draw for Motorcycle Live visitors is the chance to see the new model launches on display in the UK for the first time. Fresh off the back of the European shows, the world’s leading manufacturers will be unveiling what they have to offer for 2017 and you get to be one of the first people to try them out for size.

Motorcycle Live also provides some seriously stunning eye candy to salivate over thanks to the weird and wonderful creations in the Custom Xtreme Zone supported by Back Street Heroes and the beautifully iconic machines on display at the Classic Feature supported by The National Motorcycle Museum. Whether it’s old, new or custom metal that floats your boat, Motorcycle Live will not disappoint.

Free riding
It’s not just about seeing the machinery on display, but actually climbing on board and riding a bike in one of nine FREE live features. Various manufacturers will be making a range of popular models available to try in the Test Ride Zone supported by Shoei, Sidi and Spada, while the brand-new Experience Adventure feature supported by Ducati, KTM, Honda and Triumph will allow visitors to ride a range of adventure machines in the terrain they were made for.

The ACU Try Trials feature will give show visitors the opportunity to learn the basics of the super-skilled trials discipline in a 15-minute session and the industry’s Get On initiative will be running the Two Wheel Taster for those new to biking. Yamaha will be bringing the Dark Side MT Tour to The NEC, while BMW Motorrad will be running its GS Experience demo and Harley-Davidson will return with its Jumpstart feature.

The kids are alright
For the youngest of budding bikers, Kiddimoto returns to Motorcycle Live with its award-winning balance bikes on the inflatable Children’s Fun Track. For something with a bit more kick, Kuberg will be supplying a range of its electric off-road machines for the Kuberg MX Experience presented by MCF. Meanwhile, older teenagers can get involved in the Two Wheel Taster.

That’s entertainment
Non-stop entertainment will be provided courtesy of Steve Parrish, James Whitham and a whole host of celebrity guests on the Black Horse Stage in the British Eurosport Entertainment Zone. There’ll be games and quizzes with loads of prizes to be won, plus daily Q&As with racing stars from MotoGP, World and British Superbikes, the Isle of Man TT and Speedway – most of whom will also be doing autograph signings on their respective sponsor stands.

Kawasaki’s stunt rider extraordinaire Lee Bowers will be back by popular demand after his trick-packed demos were voted ‘Best Manufacturer Experience of 2015’ by show visitors. Another Motorcycle Live favourite, charismatic adventure rider Nick Sanders, will also make a return to launch his latest film The Extraordinary Life of an Ordinary Man.

Freestyle it
The awesome FMX Live will return to Motorcycle Live for 2016 and this year, the heart-in-your-mouth, edge-of-your-seat action is included in the ticket price, meaning visitors can experience the mind-blowing show for FREE. The live show will be situated in the 2,000-seat FMX Live arena, creating an electrifying atmosphere complete with lights, lasers, LEDs and a heart-pumping soundtrack.
