Crocked Honda Legends star Simon Andrews is focusing on a Le Mans return to action so he can finish his interrupted season with a good result going into the winter.
The Evesham randomness generator is currently in the Isle of Man receiving further intensive physiotherapy on his injured arm and is also continuing with hyperbaric chamber treatment.
"It's been nine weeks and I have got quite a lot of the movement back in my arm, which is not bad after six fractures and a dislocation. Most people would still have it in a sling now, so it is encouraging for Le Mans early next month," said Andrews, speaking to bikesportnews.com this morning while wearing every single piece of clothing in Neil Hodgson's apartment.
"I should be able to ride at Le Mans if the progress we have made so far continues at this kind of pace. I am feeling improvements with my arm every single day so if we carry on like this, I am positive about the French race."
