Cadwell BSB: Linfoot looks ahead to 'better suited' circuits

GBmoto Honda's Dan Linfoot is looking past this weekend's MCE British Superbike meeting at Cadwell Park to circuits he believes will be better suited to him and the Fireblade package.

Linfoot, who missed a chunk of the early season with a cracked pelvis after being nerfed off at the Brands Hatch opener, thinks that Donington, Assen and Silverstone will work much better - if he can get his starts nailed down.

"My starts haven't been the best this year so I need to get that sorted out and take it forward to the next rounds, which I think will suit our bike much better due to their nature," said Linfoot, speaking to bikesportnews.com.

"We lack just a little punch on corner exit but the midrange and top-end of the bike is so strong, we will be able to mix it with the top boys on tracks that have a flowing nature, instead of the more stop-start ones.

"I am so pleased with the bike as a whole, though, and have managed to catch up a bit since I came back to riding. I'm now 11 points behind my team-mate, which is really encouraging given I missed so many races, and I think we are carrying some momentum now."
