Repli-Cast Racing have signed Tom Carne as part of their 2012 British 125GP title challenge after the youngster had a successful season with the Fireplace Warehouse team last year, scoring a best finish of fifth place at Cadwell Park.

Carne’s signature is the start of team boss Gary Dawson’s mission to assemble a dream team for next season and he reckons they now have the bikes and infrastructure to be serious championship contenders.

"I’m happy to be on board, I can’t wait for next year, I’m really looking forward to riding for Team Repli-Cast. I have been talking with Gary over the past 6 months and found that I could really relate to him as a Team Manager," said Carne.

"I have a feeling it’s going to be a good year and I am in training for 2012, looking forward to meeting the rest of the team, and I am also grateful for all my sponsors who have stuck by me and in my decision to move teams and are to continue their support through the new season.”
