Swan Yamaha's Ian Hutchinson has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg following an incident at the MCN Excel Motorcycle Show earlier today when the eight-time TT winner looked to twist on his ankle while riding a dirt-bike.
The Bingley man is being ferried to Coventry to see the surgeon who has helped Hutchinson with his recovery of the leg he badly smashed at Silverstone at the end of 2010. It is the same leg he had apparently broken again.
"It looks like it may broken again and Ian is seeing his Coventry surgeon to assess the damage. I don't know much more than that at this stage but I am waiting for more news this afternoon," said team boss Shaun Muir, speaking to bikesportnews.com this lunchtime.
