Ten Kate Honda's Broc Parkes edged out team-mates Jules Cluzel and Sam Lowes for the fastest time in today's World Supersport test session at Imola, though the young Lincolnshireman couldn't quite find the pace he had in Saturday's second qualifying session.
Aussie Parkes, who wasn't suffering with duff tyres as he allegedly did over the course of race weekend, set a best lap of 1'51.102, some three-tenths faster than Lowes' pole time from Saturday while Cluzel was five one-thousandths off Lowes' quickest from the weekend with a 1'51.431.
The Briton ended the second session with a 1'51.848 but those three were a country mile ahead of the pack. Kenan Sofuoglu, Fabien Foret and Sheridan Morais were all conspicuous by their absence.
