Knockhill BSB: Hill to come out fighting

Reigning British Superbike Champion Tommy Hill is hungrier for wins than ever before after his last at Snetterton and intends to show no mercy at this weekend's Knockhill round.

The Swan Yamaha man bagged a double win at the Scottish track last year and after surrendering the title lead to Josh Brookes, he is intent on getting it back come Sunday. However, the Surrey man leads 12-8 on podium credits, vital for Showdown points.

"I am ready to go to Knockhill and hopefully we will get some sunshine as we always get good support from the local fans there. The round was a cracking one for me last year with a double win and hopefully we can have another good run," said Hill.

"After missing out in the second race at Snetterton it makes you even hungrier - I wanted to go straight there! We know what we need to do and we are going to come out fighting. We need to try and stay ahead of the game and keep pushing on and hopefully we can be back on the top step of the podium for Swan Yamaha."
