Eugene Laverty has reportedly signed a two-year deal with Suzuki to move to the Fixi World Superbike team in 2014 and then to the MotoGP squad the following year.
Although nothing has been made official, sources close to the team say Laverty will partner Alex Lowes next year which leaves Leon Camier looking for a ride in 2014 after two seasons with the Crescent-run squad.
Laverty had been waiting for a firm seat with Aprilia but securing a spot in either an Alstare or Althea-run team was taking too long, so he has jumped to Paul Denning’s operation and has a spot with the MotoGP team for 2015 as an option.
Camier could well move back into the Aprilia fold with either of the above teams or switch back into British Superbikes, possibly with Samsung Honda, but that won’t be a move he is keen to make.
