Oulton BSB: Hedger bags Motostar pole position

FPW Racing’s Luke Hedger took pole position for the Monster Energy Motostar Championship by a comfortable 0.787 seconds ahead of Catherine Green in the sunshine of Oulton Park

The Championship leader, Hedger, posted his fastest lap in the first session earlier this afternoon and didn’t improve in the second session but it was enough to secure pole position, the second time this year he will start from pole at Oulton Park.

Catherine Green did enough to secure second ahead of Phillip Wakefield in third with Joe Irving managing to get onto the front row with his last lap of the second session.

Repli-Cast UK’s Tom Carne was unable to hold onto his provisional front row start and slipped down to ninth ahead of Joe Francis and the man third in the Championship, Ryan Watson. Jon Vincent will start from twelfth for tomorrow’s race.
