Appleyard Macadam have put up a massive £20,000 British Supersport Championship win bonus as part of a package to find the right rider for their 2015 campaign.
The team, who parted company with Jake Dixon at the end of this season, have secured a new sponsor who wants to give the series a bit of a shake-up and has put up the prize fund for the one-rider team.
“The team has always looked to support the future of British motorcycle racing and this will be no different in 2015 as negotiations open with several young riders,” said a team spokesman.
“Winning the championship is a tough challenge, but a single rider team will focus the attention of everyone in the new look Appleyard Macadam team.”
The squad will also offer another rider the opportunity to lease a fully prepared machine. This will include a spare engine, wheels, space in the awning and transport to and from all meetings. The rider will merely have to arrange his own crew and parts.
