Assen WorldSBK: MV bring in new swingarm for Camier

MV Agusta have brought a second version of a new swingarm first seen at the WorldSBK Aragon test day for Leon Camier to try at Assen but the team are still in debate over whether to run it.

Camier didn’t use the new unit today and it might be a big risk to bolt in such an important but untested part ahead of the short third free practice and qualifying tomorrow but the former BSB champ says the positives may outweight the negatives.

“We are debating whether to use it or not. We tired a version of it at Aragon and there were positives and negatives, and this is a mark two version, something slightly different,” said Camier, speaking at the track.

“If it gives the positives we had at Aragon then it will be really good, but if it still has the negatives then it will be a bit of a waste of time so we are still thinking about it.”
