Bagnaia steps into MotoGP with Pramac Ducati in 2019

Francesco Bagnaia has signed a deal with the Pramac Ducati team which will see him move into the MotoGP series in 2019.

The youngster has been part of Valentino Rossi’s Sky VR46 setup through Moto3 and now in Moto2 - and the news means The Doctor probably won’t be setting up his own premier class team next season.

“Next year I my dreams will come true. Often I have said that I would have like to debut in MotoGP riding a Ducati and it will finally happen,” saidBagnaia.

“For me it is a great result and I have to thank the Team, Sky and the VR46 Riders Academy, for all the support and for following me in my growth path in the last 5 seasons, three with the Sky Racing Team VR46. But now, it is important to stay focused on this last season in Moto2. We have a great opportunity.”
