Pata Yamaha’s Alex Lowes believes he has taken a big step forwards with electronics settings at the Misano WorldSBK test.
The Derby-based rider put in 162 laps in the heat over the two days as he tested some new parts and identified a new direction in which to go with the electronics setup on his R1.
“The test was really positive for both myself and the team. We worked through lots of stuff and found a couple of improvements, which is really nice. We found a clear direction with some electronic settings that I feel could really help us a lot,” said Lowes.
“Overall, it’s been a positive test and I want to say a massive thanks to all the crew, it has been a busy week for them and I appreciate all of their hard work, especially in the 30 plus degree weather.”
