Ben and Tom Birchall have narrowly beaten Estelle Leblond and Melanie Farnier to lift this year’s BSN Sidecar Team of the Year trophy.

In the public vote, the Birchalls nabbed 28.39 per cent of the ballot with the all-female roads pairing taking 23 per cent. 2018 British champion Kershaw and Clark were third on 21.61 per cent.

Pete Founds and Jevan Walmsley were fourth on 5.89 per cent with Todd Ellis and Charlie Richardson completing the top five with 5.39 per cent.
