World Supersport is a traditional home for British young guns hoping to make a name for themselves but for 2015, only two are on the entry list - Kyle Smith and Kieran Clarke.

Smith, a Spain-based Yorkshireman, will ride in Pata Honda colours on the bike Michael Van Der Mark won the 2014 title, while Clarke comes back from the relative wilderness to ride for Simon Buckmaster’s CIA Honda outfit.

Given the 24-bike entry list, multiple champion Kenan Sofuoglu is the runaway favourite already but he should be given a hard time by both Jules Cluzel, who remains on the MV Agusta, and PJ Jacobsen who showed flashes of brilliance last year.

Sheridan Morais is a returnee to the series after his deal with Grillini fell to bits while ex-250GP man Roby Rolfo should be a contender, but has struggled with four-strokes.
