Tyco BMW’s William Dunlop has expressed disappointment with his results in the two Superbike races at yesterday’s Cookstown 100 but made up for it with a brace of Supersport wins.
Dunlop finished fifth and fourth in the two big races and says he is a little rusty on the S1000RR but still has plenty of time to get to grips with it before the North West 200.
“I was a bit disappointed with my results today, but it’s only the first race of the season and we still have a bit of work to do before the North West. I rode well but am still a bit rusty on the BMW but we have time to perfect our set-up, so I’m looking forward to both the NW200 and TT,” said Dunlop.
