Currie and Taylor line-up for CF Motorsport

CF Motorsport have announced their 2016 rider line-up with Ben Currie moving up to British Supersport and Taz Taylor switching to National Superstock 600 from Motostar.

The team have also made provision for a third rider in the squad should the opportunity arise.

“I am delighted to say I’m continuing another year with Craig and the CF Motorsport gang. After the year we have had and the incredible working relationship we have formed I think we are only going to get stronger and stronger as we move up into British Supersport where I want to be able to challenge for podiums,” said Currie.

“Finishing second in Stock 600 this year has given me the confidence to step up and with CF motorsport behind me and the management of former WorldSBK champ Troy Corser I think it can be another awesome year.”

Taylor added: “I’m really looking forward to riding for Craig and to be part of the CF Motorsport team. I’ve spoken to Ryan (my old team boss) about what I should do and he said Craig’s team is definitely the best option. I’m nervous about throwing my leg over a 600 because a Moto3 is the biggest bike I’ve ever ridden but the team has a lot of experience and with a lot of pre-season testing planned hopefully I’ll have a good time in Spain and be ready for round one.”

It is believed that 2015 rider Kyle Ryde has secured a seat in World Supersport for 2016.
