Aruba Ducati's Chaz Davies will not have to undergo surgery on the collarbone he re-broke in a Supermoto crash last week.
The Welshman fell at the Aragon circuit and spent a night in hospital after also suffering concussion but the team say surgery on the bone - which he initally broke in a mountain bike crash before World Ducati Week - will be left to heal on its own.
"Further checks confirmed the reopening of a fracture in the right collarbone that Chaz sustained in July ahead of World Ducati Week," said the team's Luca Semprini.
"It's not completely broken so, given the nature of the injury, Davies will not get surgery and instead he will focus on rehabilitation and strengthening ahead of next race at Portimão."
