Workwear brand Dickies will maintain its presence in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2019 after extending its partnership with the UK’s biggest motorsport series in a new agreement with commercial rights holder MSV.
Dickies will retain official associate sponsor status ahead of the opening round of the 2019 season at Silverstone on April 19/20/21, including title sponsorship of the leading support class to Bennetts BSB, the fiercely-contested British Supersport Championship and also the Junior Supersport series.
The partnership also features prominent trackside visibility and the continued supply of orange safety clothing to the 700-strong Racesafe Marshals Association, plus workwear for the medical team, the technical officials and trackside media who support every Bennetts British Superbike Championship event.
In 2019 there will also be two Dickies rounds of the Championship, the first at Oulton Park in Cheshire during the May Bank Holiday weekend (May 4/5/6) and also the crucial title-deciding final round at Brands Hatch in Kent on October 18/19/20.
Marketing Director at Dickies, James Whitaker, said: “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and are excited for the new season of Supersport racing as we continue our title sponsorship of two classes: Dickies British Supersport and Dickies Junior Supersport that promotes stars of the future.
“Through our association we have a fantastic platform to showcase our brand to the millions who watch the series both trackside and worldwide through the TV broadcast. As a workwear brand we are pleased that we can supply clothing for the army of trackside marshals, medical, technical and media working personnel, highlighting the diversity of the range that we have to offer at Dickies.”
