Farquhar out of intensive care after NW200 crash

North West 200 bosses have today confirmed that roads legend Ryan Farquhar has been moved out of intensive care and is in a ’stable’ condition.

The Dungannon rider was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on Thursday following a crash at Black Hill during the Supertwin race.

Farquhar spent the weekend under close medical scrutiny but has been taken off the danger list this morning. Dan Cooper, who was also involved in the accident, was back in the paddock the following day after having both his shoulders re-located by medics.
