Reigning World Superbike Champion Sylvain Guintoli got his first taste of the Pata Honda he will ride in next year's championship today at Jerez.

The Frenchman, who replaces Jonathan Rea in the squad, had to dodge the rain at the Spanish circuit but did some installation laps while hoping for clearer weather tomorrow.
