Five-time world champion Jorge Lorenzo has made his debut with the works Ducati team this morning, turning in four shakedown laps on a winged Desmosedici GP16 on a very cold surface.

It is expected the former Yamaha man will switch to the GP17 at some point over the next two days but for now he is settling in and getting a feel for the Bologna bike, already cracking the speed trap at 307kph and setting a 1’37.263 on his third lap.
