Ecstar Suzuki newboy Joan Mir has made his first public appearance on the MotoGP GSX-RR he will campaign in next year's championship at the Valencia test.

The young Spaniard has already turned some laps in Japan on the bike at Motegi with Sylvain Guintoli so already has the ergonomics sorted out.

Mir has former GSE Racing technician Frankie Carchedi as his crew chief this season.
