Former British Motostar Champion Joe Francis will ride for Keith Flint’s Team Traction Control in 2015 after becoming the first rider to sign on in the team’s new academy programme.

Francis will remain in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 series next season as part of the newly-formed TTC Academy which has been put together with the Saints Foundation charity.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to step up to Team Traction Control for next year. Obviously I've been keeping a close eye on what's been going on with the team in 2014 and to be part of this exciting – and growing – team is a dream come true,” said Francis.

“I still have to pinch myself to check it's really happening. But I'm going to do my very best for TTC and make sure I have fun and enjoy riding my bike. I'm looking forward to working with the team and for the team to bring out my full potential, I can't wait for the season to start.”
