Hornsey joins Stapleford at Profile Racing

Former TAG Kawasaki man Sam Hornsey has been confirmed as Luke Stapleford’s team-mate at Profile Racing for the 2015 Motorpoint British Supersport Championship.

Hornsey progressed through the ranks of the series in 2014, gaining a pole position at Assen and gaining career best positions along the way at Cadwell Park and Silverstone. He now hopes to progress to the podium on the 675cc Triumph.

“I am very excited to announce I’m riding for Profile Racing, I feel as if the package is good enough to win and looking at Luke Stapleford’s and Luke Mossey’s results this year the Profile Racing Triumphs are more than good enough for the job,” said Hornsey.

“I feel as if I’ve made huge amounts of progress this year, my results are more consistent and my championship position reflected that from the previous two years. My plans are to improve my fitness over the winter, and then start a new chapter with Profile Racing, I want to become even more consistent, aiming for podiums and a top five finish in the championship.

“I’ve never had a team-mate before and I also believe this will benefit me and make me quicker and consistent, I want to thank Profile Racing and Pete Stapleford for giving me this opportunity.”
