Bennetts British Superbike star Jason O'Halloran has flown to the Imola WorldSBK round as a stand-by in case the returning Leon Camier is unable to ride.

Camier is still recovering from being run over at Aragon and missed the Assen round. He is at Imola and will attempt to ride his Red Bull Honda tomorrow in the first free practices but O'Halloran is on stand-by.

"Although Leon has been cleared to ride in Free Practice 1 on Friday,, we will monitor his situation closely and the medical staff will review his condition after that session," said team boss Kervin Bos.

"If he's unable to continue, we have Jason O'Halloran with us on standby as a reserve rider who has lots of experience on the Fireblade."
