Jerez Moto2 test: Dixon making progress with KTM

Britain's Jake Dixon has got the second day of Moto2 testing under his belt at Jerez and is making progress with the Triumph-engined KTM.

The Angel Nieto rider finished 2.6s off fastest man Luca Marini on a day that was interrupted by rain but says that track time is the most important thing at the moment.

“I still don’t have the best feeling with the bike, we’re struggling a little bit, but we are working hard together with the team to understand this KTM. For example, today we improved the feeling with the front end," said Dixon.

"It is incredible the job that the team are doing to help me get comfortable. It is a shame that the rain came and limited the track time because we need as many laps as possible in these tests. We could do with another session in the dry because we have worked on some things that could help us improve. Hopefully it doesn’t rain tomorrow because otherwise we’ll have to wait until next year to try them.”
