Reigning Moto3 World Champion Danny Kent has made his debut on the 2016 Kalex he will race for the Leopard team in Moto2 next season with a two-day test at Catalunya.
The British youngster, with team-mate Miguel Oliveria, had a tough couple of days at the Spanish track due to rain and the surface being dirty but managed to work on initial setup data.
"It was good to get back in the saddle after two months, those of December and January, in which he could not run. This first step is important because it is a completely new experience, both for the team and for the bike,” said Kent.
More than the times we have focused on the feeling of the bike and its set-up. They were two positive days, I found my pace slowly, but a shame about the poor conditions: with dirty track yesterday and today's strong wind. We will try to improve from next test."
