Britain’s Danny Kent will return to the MotoGP paddock at this weekend’s Austrian round as he stands in for the injured Marcel Schrotter.
Kent has been drafted in to the Dynavolt Intact Moto2 team as a late replacement for Schrotter after he underwent surgery on a hand injury picked up a Brno.
“I have already worked with some people in the team in the past. Of course we want to have a great result, so I will give 110 per cent from FP1. This year has been a bit strange for me, because obviously I rode the Suter, then switched to Moto3 and then rode the Kalex in Mugello,” said Kent.
“A lot of changing bikes for me this season. I started the year with Suter and from what I've heard they changed some things with the bike. So I'm quite excited to see what is different.”
