Be Wiser Kawasaki’s Chris Walker will not take part in today’s MCE British Superbike action at Knockhill after being ruled out of action by circuit medics.

Walker was left battered and bruised in a highside during Friday’s free practice two and didn’t take to the track for qualifying yesterday. After another trip to the medical centre, Walker has been advised not to race.

“Chris will not participate in the races today as he sustained some heavy blows in free practice two and is still very bashed and bruised, with some small rib and neck injuries. It’s nothing serious but enough for the medics at Knockhill to rule Chris out of today’s races,” said a team statement.
