Knockhill BSB: 'I'm back to my old self' - Buchan

The tall Essex lad finished sixth in race one, and lapped a time quick enough to place his ZX-10R on the front row for race two, and has praised his team for helping him get back to his ‘old self’ once again.

In the final race Buchan finished in seventh, and is please that he bagged some solid points. It has been a steady start to the season, after having five DNF’s so far this year. But the reigning Pirelli National Superstock 1000 champ is feeling more comfortable and confident on his Be Wiser backed Kawasaki, going into his home round of Brands.

“I’m really pleased with the weekend at Knockhill and two solid top ten positions and it was what we really needed. I felt very comfortable this weekend and the Be Wiser team once again worked really hard to help me improve each time I went out on the bike,” said Buchan.

“I felt really strong in both races and back to my old self and these two results are great for the confidence and I know my pace was really consistent in both races which also was a good motivator for me. I can’t thank the team enough for all their help and input they have put into me I really appreciate it and want to wish my team-mate Chris a speedy recovery.”
