Michael Laverty’s first ever BSB podium came at Knockhill, back in 2005.

Fifth place in last year’s opening race is Taylor Mackenzie’s best ever BSB result.

The current lap record, set in 2015, is held by Shane Byrne at 48.252s.

Leon Haslam will make his 175th BSB start in the opening race at Knockhill.

Richard Cooper will make his 75th BSB start in race one at Knockhill.

Michael Laverty and James Ellison have now made 233 BSB race starts each.

Laverty became the 11th rider to score more than 2000 points in BSB with three points at round two earlier this year.
