Howie Mainwaring Smart will join John Hopkins in Tommy Hill’s ePayMe Yamaha team for the upcoming Cadwell Park British Superbike round.

Mainwaring parted company with Smiths BMW after Thruxton and has been looking for a seat in the championship. He will stand in for Broc Parkes who is on World Endurance duty with YART for the weekend.

“You can only imagine how happy I am to have been given this opportunity. I have tested the Yamaha, although not the one I am going to race at Cadwell Park and it really seemed to suit my style. I am excited about this chance to race with Tommy’s team and although Cadwell Park is a bit quirky, I have no pressure on me so I can just build up through the weekend. I am really looking forward to Cadwell Park and doing the best job I can for the team,” said Mainwaring.
