Reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez has dislocated his right shoulder in a crash during testing at Jerez but his Repsol Honda team says the injury was only brief.
Marquez and team-mate Dani Pedrosa were at the Spanish track ifor a private test which was delayed by rain yesterday. Marquez went down at turn seven but was able to get back out on his RC213V after a trip to the medical centre.
“Today was a productive day, as we were able to do many laps and to work on our bike well. We did most of the work we had planned, which is good. I crashed in the afternoon and dislocated my shoulder, but luckily it was nothing serious. Now I’ll have some rest back at home and get ready for the next test, in Qatar,” he said.
