Former European Superstock 600 Champion Jed Metcher has signed a two-year deal to ride for PR Kawasaki in the MCE British Superbike Championship.

The Australian, who took his Stock crown in 2011 before moving up to World Supersport, will race for the team until the end of 2016 and by then they think he will be a title contender. He joined the team at Assen this season as a replacement rider.

“I'm very grateful that PR Racing has given me this opportunity to ride in BSB. This championship is one of the best in the world in all areas and I am looking forward to the challenge,” he said.

“We have an exciting two year programme, where I will be developing my track knowledge during the first year, but will be going all out for a top 10 finish in year two. I'd like to thank RT racing for giving me their support and all my supporters in Australia.”
