Mossey joins Mainwaring at Quattro Kawasaki in 2015

Motorpoint British Supersport race winner Luke Mossey will make the step up to the blue riband MCE British Superbike class in 2015 after signing a deal to ride for the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team alongside Howie Mainwaring.

Mossey has already ridden the Superbike a few times at a wet Mallory Park and has shown crew chief Ray Stringer he is more than capable of making the step up to the big class while Mainwaring is full of confidence after his debut win at Brands Hatch at the season finale.

“We firmly believe with Howie’s new-found form and confidence we will be back battling for a Showdown position in 2015. Luke is a real breath of fresh air to the team and I firmly believe he is ready to take on the challenges of the Superbike,” said team boss Pete Extance as the pair were unveiled at Motorcycle Live.

“The team is fully aware Luke needs plenty of time on the bike and will be heading to Spain as soon as possible to start off his 2015 challenge along with Howie and James (Hillier, roads rider.

“Luke knows he will need to be at the top of his game in his rookie season on the Superbike to be challenging near the front but is confident he will surprise some of the regular top riders. Thanks again to Quattro Plant and all our sponsors for the continued support for 2015.”
