Mossey parts company with JG Speedfit Kawasaki

Luke Mossey has parted company with the JG Speedfit Kawasaki Bennetts British Superbike squad.

Both parties have agreed to split after four years together following what has been a difficult 2018 season.

"I just want to thank Pete and Julie and all at Bournemouth Kawasaki for a fabulous four years and for making me feel so welcome. We had some great results including a double win at Brands Indy in 2017,” said Mossey.

“We have not had the best of seasons in 2018 with some mechanical issues and few rider errors, we remain great friends and who knows what the future will bring? I would like to wish them the best in 2019 and congratulate them on the Championship.”

Team owner Pete Extance added: “It’s been an amazing four seasons seeing Luke develop from a Supersport rider in to a BSB winner and championship contender. 2017 saw Luke lead the championship up to his huge crash at Thruxton in FP3 where broke his back that brought an abrupt end to the season.

“We have really enjoyed running Luke throughout and wish him all the best in his new venture and hope to see the old Luke Mossey back at the front.”
