JG Speedfit Kawasaki’s Luke Mossey will undergo a medical this week in order to assess his fitness to race at the Cadwell Park MCE British Superbike round.
The youngster suffered a fractured vertebrae when he crashed heavily at Thruxton and has been in rehabilitation since with visits to a hyperbaric chamber.
“I’m feeling a lot better and I’m getting stronger every day. I’ve had seven sessions in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber and spent long periods of time in it, but it’s definitely helping so it’s all worth while. I’m seeing a specialist this week and they’ll assess my back and see how it’s recovering,” said Mossey.
“I’m looking forward to spending some time with my family and progressing with my recovery. I feel confident in myself and when I’m declared fit I’ll be ready to get back on the bike and race.”
