Tarran Mackenzie believes the Barcelona MotoGP weekend was his best so far in terms of getting to know the Suter Moto2 machine he is campaigning for Kiefer Racing but it ended in a spectacular crash after only a handful of laps yesterday.
The Scotsman had made progress with setup throughout meeting, dropping two seconds off his time between free practice one and qualifying, but he fell on lap four of the race and took full responsibility.
"I am angry with myself as this weekend was our best so far but a look at the results lists leaves a different impression,” said Mackenzie.
“With each session, we have got better in terms of the lap times, which is certainly the most positive aspect and from here I'm looking forward to the next race in Assen and getting to know the Suter Moto2 better."
