MotoGP Germany: Crutchlow cracks elbow, shin in crash

Britain’s Cal Crutchlow has revealed a highside at the Sachsenring’s Omega curve during this morning’s MotoGP third free practice has put small cracks in his elbow and shin but he is fit to race tomorrow.

The CWM LCR Honda man was fired out of the seat of his works-spec RC213V when he was too heavy on the rear brake into the downhill corner trying to scrub off some speed and it resulted in the spill.

“I went into the corner too fast and didn't want to risk losing the front so I used the rear brake a little too much and it threw me over the handlebars. So I have a small crack in my elbow and my fibula, but honestly I'm ok and not in too much pain,” said Crutchlow, speaking at the track.
