Britain's Sam Lowes will start tomorrow's Moto2 race at the Jerez MotoGP round from the third row while compatriot Danny Kent qualified in 11th.
Lorenzo Baldassarri bagged his maiden class and grand prix pole position at the Andalucian track, squeaking ahead of Alex Marquez by 0.071s with championship leader Pecco Bagnaia in third.
