MotoGP Jerez: Marc VDS expect Suzuki decision at Le Mans

Marc VDS team boss Michael Bartholemy believes he will be able to make a decision on which manufacturer they will team with at the next MotoGP round.

An announcement had been expecting at Jerez this weekend but the Suzuki chief who had been scheduled to come cried off with a bad back, prompting rumours the deal could be on shaky ground and Marc VDS will either go to Yamaha or remain with Honda.

"Hopefully, it should be Le Mans but I know I said before I should like it to be ready for Texas. But there have been some new questions. Always when you are in these stages of negotations, things are a little bit changing and I think we need another ten days to decide," said Bartholemy.

There has been speculation at Jerez that Suzuki have decided not to field a satellite team at all next year as the cost is prohibitive.
