MotoGP Motegi: Phillip Island also under threat for Lorenzo

Jorge Lorenzo was forced to pull out of the Motegi MotoGP round after just two laps of free practice one and doesn't think racing at Phillip Island is likely either.

Lorenzo put in two tentative circuits of the Japanese track and came back to his garage. With a shake of the head, he called it off and will now have to wait and see about the Australia round.

"I don't know about Phillip Island yet, because you never know what can you feel when I arrive there on Wednesday or Thursday," said Lorenzo, speaking at the track.

"But it's difficult to believe, if in 14 days the injury didn't recover so well, that in six days it could recover so fast.

"It can happen and we are gonna make a magnetic resonance to understand even more closely what happened in all the injury and decide what to do, the only thing I will do now is rest, and wait for the body to recover."
