MotoGP Sepang: Crutchlow won’t ask for more HRC support in 2017

Britain’s Cal Crutchlow says he won’t request any more support from HRC in 2017 as he has proven his speed on the satellite LCR RC213V in the second half of the season.

Crutchlow, who was a clear winner at Phillip Island last weekend, believes the technical level of the bike is good and it should be up to Honda to decide the level of support that is given.

"Honestly speaking, we are happy with what we have, sure. Technically we are at a great level, but I don’t think it’s down to me to make this decision, or ask for anything more or anything less,” said Crutchlow at Sepang.

"You can see from Phillip Island we’re not missing anything, and if you put Marc on my bike I think he would go at the same speed. We have to be realistic, but we made a good job in the second half of the season, just not the first part."
